About Woodgreen Early Learning Centre (Waiting List open for 2028 & 2029)

Nothing Comes Close to Woodgreen

There’s nothing like it out there.

Many childcare centres operate as large, commercial services — focused on numbers, turnover, and expansion. Woodgreen is different.

It isn’t a commercial childcare centre — it’s a labour of heart and soul. Every part of it has been built with love, care, and purpose, creating a place where children and families truly belong.

With only 48 places, we remain small by design so that every child is known, every relationship is genuine, and every moment matters. Even with over 300 enquiries each year, our commitment has never been to grow bigger — only to grow better.

Be wary of judging early learning by NQS ratings or fees — they are not true indicators of quality. The current NQS rating system in early childhood education does not reflect the true quality of a service. It measures paperwork, not passion, compliance, not connection. What truly defines quality are the relationships, warmth, and sense of belonging that children experience every day.

There could be as few as 1 in 100 childcare services in New South Wales that operate with the same depth of care, integrity, and purpose as Woodgreen.

At Woodgreen, quality is felt in the warmth of our welcome, the calm of our environment, and the care that guides every decision we make.

Families often say Woodgreen feels different — warm, calm, and deeply personal. Because when something is created with love, heart and soul, nothing comes close to Woodgreen.

Others may offer size or show, but Woodgreen offers something rarer — authentic quality built on love, care, and integrity. That’s why, when families compare, they discover that nothing comes close to Woodgreen.

We enrolled our daughter, Sharon, at Woodgreen in mid-2024, and she has been there since. As we prepare to move to Melbourne, I wanted to take a moment to share our heartfelt appreciation. Woodgreen has truly been the best place for our daughter. Over the past year, we’ve seen Sharon grow and thrive—not just academically, but also socially. She has built meaningful friendships and gained confidence, which has been wonderful to watch as parents. I would especially like to acknowledge the teachers and staff for their dedication and care. Their efforts in nurturing each child as an individual really stand out. The structured learning approach and strong emphasis on school readiness have made a noticeable difference in Sharon’s development, and we are very grateful for that. The centre provides a safe, supportive environment with positive reinforcement, engaging activities, and a thoughtful academic focus. It’s clear that a lot of planning and care go into creating a well-rounded experience for the children throughout the year. A special thank you to Ms Amanda, Ms Priscilla , Ms Talia, Ms Sally, and all the wonderful teachers for your constant support, care, and dedication. Your efforts have truly made a positive impact on Sharon’s growth and happiness, and we are deeply grateful for everything you’ve done. Overall, our experience with Woodgreen has been exceptional. I would highly recommend this centre to any parent looking for a place where their child can grow into a confident and well-rounded individual.
