Wee Jadey's Family Day Care

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I am Jade Bytheway, owner of Wee Jadey's Family Day Care, located in the serene surroundings of Tingalpa, Brisbane, and registered with the Exceeding & Award-Winning, Kids at Home Family Day Care Scheme.

Originally from the UK, I’ve embraced Australia as my home since January 2015. I live with my partner, Ciaran, and our two young children. We thoroughly enjoy the Australian lifestyle, especially going to the beach and having BBQ gatherings.

With 17 years of childcare experience, I've worked as a Primary School Teaching Assistant and managed UK-based breakfast & after-school programs for children aged 3-11 years. Relocating to Australia, I assumed leadership positions in two childcare centres, caring for infants and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 3 years old.

At Wee Jadey's Family Day Care, I provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages. My approach draws upon my gentle nature, guiding children through their daily routines while fostering a strong partnership with families to create an effective routine, beneficial for both the home and the daycare.

Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and I am a passionate advocate for intentional teaching that includes nurturing and extending upon children's interests and ideas, posing open-ended questions to stimulate their imagination, and fostering an environment that encourages a passion for learning.
