About Vineyard Children's Early Learning Centre

Welcome to Vineyard Children's Early Learning Centre!

Vineyard Children's Early Learning Centre is a family owned long day care Centre. We provide a home like loving educational environment, which stimulates children's development and provides them with the skills they need to become life long learners.

We are a purpose built service, providing care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We are located in walking distance to Vineyard Railway station and are set on a beautiful 5-Acre semi rural property with a tranquil outlook of nature surrounding the service, with plenty of parking.

We have 4 large indoor play spaces and 3 separate outdoor areas, which are designed to meet the needs of each different age group as we believe the environment acts as the third teacher in facilitating children’s learning.

We have a talented team of long standing educators who love and adore each and every child that comes into our care like they are our own.

At Vineyard we consider everyone in the community part of our family. Let me be the first to welcome you to our family. .

Our Curriculum

Our aim is to provide a stimulating and holistic curriculum encompassing the skills needed for children to become confident, successful and resourceful learners guiding children to find their identity, meaning and purpose in life. The skills for life curriculum encompasses The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), areas needed not only to ensure children have a successful transition to formal schooling but also to ensure each child succeeds in life.

We believe children begin learning from birth, so we have developed 8 skills for life to ensure children of each age are encouraged to build confidence and a love of learning.

Our 8 Learning for Life skills look like;

  1. Word Life - Designed for children who like to read, write and tell stories and excels at learning and using new words.
  2. Logic Life - Designed for children who like to explore patterns and numbers, and enjoys figuring out how things work.
  3. Creative Life - Designed for the “visualiser” children who like to design and create and enjoy singing and listening to music
  4. Farm Life - Designed for children who like to be outside in touch with nature and care for living things.
  5. Active Life - Designed for children who use body language, love to move and play sports, and who excels in dancing and other physical activity.
  6. Quiet Life - Designed for the “thinking” child who likes to be introspective, is in tune with their personal feelings and thoughts, and enjoys working alone.
  7. Prep Life - The aim of our prep life program is to create confident and successful learners designed for children who are in the year before school to extend on their current abilities and give them the best start to a successful transition to formal schooling.
  8. Extra Life - Extra-curricular experiences available at Vineyard.

    I'm so thrilled about the wonderful experience and quality care my baby has been receiving from Vineyard Children's Early Learning Center. All of the educators in the BURA room are patient, hard working, and dedicated; and are passionate about early-childhood education. My baby has low muscle tone and there are a few exercises recommended by my baby's physio to build her muscle strength and the room leader Meegan along with other educators were more than willing and accommodating to help with the exercises while my baby is at care. Miss Meegan has established a positive classroom atmosphere and I cannot thank her and the staff enough for their influence on my child's growth and success. Previously I was at another center and hence in comparison, I can see that the difference and quality care that VCELC provides. VCELC is a hidden gem and one should consider yourself lucky if you find a spot in this center. Julia the director is friendly and warm and is always prompt to answer any queries. This center is blessing not only to my baby and others in her room, but to many working parents. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!
