Since 1982, Uniting Ella Early Learning Haberfield has supported families across Haberfield and Sydney’s Inner West, providing high‑quality early learning and preschool education for children from birth to 5 years. Located on Darug land in a quiet residential street, our long day care centre in Haberfield, NSW offers a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn.

A trusted and inclusive early learning community
Many of our educators have been with Uniting Ella for many years, forming strong, lasting relationships with children and families. This continuity supports a deep connection to the diverse cultures of the Haberfield and Inner West community, helping every child feel valued, respected and secure.

Supporting learning from birth to preschool
Our educators take a care‑based approach for babies and toddlers, supporting early communication, physical development, and social and emotional wellbeing. Preschool children build curiosity, confidence and independence through a mix of open‑ended play and structured learning experiences, preparing them for school and beyond.

Nature‑focused learning spaces in a unique setting
Our early learning centre is housed in a historic Federation home, with engaging indoor and outdoor play spaces that encourage creativity and exploration. Children may build sandcastles in the sandpit, learn to ride a bike on our bicycle track, or take part in regular local excursions around Haberfield.
Our programs support a smooth and confident transition to school for families across Haberfield, Leichhardt and surrounding suburbs.
