Welcome to our Rumpus Room Pelican Centre

We are an early learning community strengthening the connection between the children in our care and their environment, community, and families.

We have developed a beautiful purpose built centre with four children’s rooms opening onto a spacious deck that flows naturally into a very engaging playground.

Each room has been designed to provide support for the specific age groups. Let the Wild Rumpus Start (0-2 years) focuses on connection to educators and transitioning into the care environment. Mischief Mountain (2-3 years) focuses on developing a sense of self, understanding their bodies, their wants, and their needs. Tumbling Tides (3-4  years) supports children in peer relationships. Wild Things (our Bush Kinder room) provides challenging and engaging, nature-based programs through environmental engagement, and Rumpus Kings (4-5 years) supports children as they transition to school in our specifically designed school-readiness program.

Programs: From the first few months of life until they transition to school, children are supported in our learning environments to strengthen their skills and develop tools to support them in overcoming their challenges.
