The Gap Early Childhood Centre

​​The Gap Early Childhood Centre is a small, family owned long day care service designed with children, families, community, the natural world and sustainability in mind. Our Centre has been providing families with quality education and care for 50 years.  Our objective is to provide children with opportunities for rich, play based learning in a happy and nurturing environment where children and families feel welcome and valued... an environment that instantly says "you belong".  Our centre caters for children from the age of two and a half through to Prep age.  Our unique Pre-Kindy Program provides an early learning experience for children aged from 2 and a half to four years of age with a focus on creative play based, enriching activities.  Our program is delivered by qualified educators who are trained in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).   Our Kindy program is delivered by qualified Early Childhood Teachers.  Underpinned by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, educators observe and spend time creating meaningful learning opportunities that occurs around the children's interests as an extension of play. It is hands-on and challenges individual children's developmental levels to ensure success and curiosity.
