Welcome to Sutherland St Childcare and Kindergarten!

We are a team of dedicated early childhood professionals, entrusted with the health and well being of each child, within the highest quality “learning through play” environment, whilst working in partnership with families and the community.

Rated as Exceeding in all 7 Quality Areas by A.C.E.C.Q.A. in 2019, Sutherland Street Childcare and Kindergarten is a family owned and operated, long day care Early Childhood Education and Care Centre located in Kilmore, Victoria.

We are committed to excellence in everything we do and we are committed to providing friendly, quality, flexible childcare for the families who attend our centre.

4 Year Old Kindergarten at Sutherland Street

We are licensed by the State Government Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to deliver a 4 year old Kindergarten Program.  We offer a 15 hours a week Kindergarten Program, where families can select the days they wish their child to attend.

Our Kindergarten Program operates from: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.

Sutherland Street Childcare  and Kindergarten  is  registered with the Federal Department of Education (DoE) as a provider of  Childcare Subsidy  to eligible families who attend our centre.

Outside of School Hours Care

As well as Long Day Care and Kindergarten services at Kilmore, Broadford and Wallan we also operate

• Sutherland Street Out of School Hours Care at Kilmore Primary School, 35 Lancefield Road, Kilmore.
• Kilmore Out of School Hours Care at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Sutherland Street Kilmore for St. Patricks Primary School Students.
• Wallan Out of School Hours Care at Our Lady of the Way, 30 Alcantara Boulevard, Wallan for OLOTW students

You are very welcome to visit our Centre at anytime to meet the staff and inspect the rooms where you child maybe accommodated, however please be aware that all visitors to our sites may not be admitted  during COVID lockdowns or other local emergencies.

Visitors must also register before entry using our unique QR codes situated at the front door of the service. Masks must also be worn when visiting any of our sites.

The business operates from : 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.
