Welcome to Story House Early Learning McDowall Village!

At Story House Early Learning Mcdowall Village we value early childhood education as a strong foundation to ensure each child is given the best opportunity to learn and thrive within their environments. We aim to act in the best interests of all children within our service and community throughout planned and spontaneous learning experiences. 

Our educators respect each child as a capable learner by including their perspectives in teaching, learning and assessment. We aim to create strong connections and relationships with each individual child, their family, the volunteers and members of our community. The Approved learning framework that is run from our Nursery room up until our Pre Kindy room at the service is the Early Years Learning Framework, which guides our educators throughout their planning and programming cycles. 

Our families are involved within the service through a variety of different areas, we are lucky enough to have our families coming in for cooking experiences with the children, as well as sharing about their cultures. Our Chef creates a four week rotating menu that changes adapting to the seasonal produce. The children take part in excursions around the local area and enjoy Let's Solve it STEM project Incursions. We also have a beautiful outdoor space ready for many new adventures, we cannot wait to meet you and your little one at Story House McDowall Village.
