SDN Mosman - Long Day Care and Preschool

SDN Mosman provides quality early childhood education and child care for 56 children per day aged 6 weeks to school age, in the beautiful Lower North Shore suburb of Mosman. The centre has a real feel of being 'a home away from home'. Through a child-led approach, all learning opportunities are tailored to the child’s unique interests and strengths.

A green oasis, the outdoor area is where the children can embark on their daily adventures. The safe environments are designed for children to run, jump and play. Children are encouraged to use their imagination and invent games while learning about the world at their own pace and developing their social skills.

The rooms are well-resourced, with many age-appropriate educational toys and equipment. The children can explore various activities such as spaces for creating art, a nature corner, reading, painting, puzzles and much more.

We develop a strong sense of community through local walks and inviting the community into our centre. Exciting community excursions include the library, cafes, parks, museums and Taronga Zoo.

We encourage families and grandparents to join our excursions too, as well as to come together for special centre events throughout the year. 

Preschool Fee Relief

The NSW Government is providing up to $2110 in fee relief for preschool aged children who are enrolled in the preschool program at SDN Children’s Services from 2023. If your child will be 4 on or before 31 July 2023, this additional funding could mean up to $40 a week in fee relief to your family, on top of the existing child care subsidy.
