Would NOT recommend this centre. They expect parents to get an approval message via the app you use to sign in and out when marking them absent if sick ect. Which is odd that a parent should need to have approval if they are not fit to attend kindy that day but that was just the beginning of strange things they have implemented. You also will have to pay MORE if your child uses less time at the centre say for example you have 36hrs of ccs time allocated to you per fornight and your child just happens to attend the centre for 12hrs for the 2 week period Raceview Play and Learn will charge you for hrs not used. Whenever i have brought this up when looking in new centres they have said they have NEVER heard of this. It is usual protocol to charge the parent if more time is spent at the centre then you are allocated to which is completely understandable but NOT the other way around. This centre's owner must have implemented this as just another way to make money. Scam vibes. Having hidden costs that you are NOT told about when doing the kindy tour. You cannot use this centre if you would like to do 3 days one week then 1 day the next week this centre doesnt do that. They have a minimum of 9hr days - the child must do those full 9hrs or you will get charged for them being there less time and thats the minimum-9hrs,10 or 12-which are long days for little ones. Last but not least you CANNOT cancel enrollment over the phone, they expect you to give 2 weeks notice-will still charge you for that time the child doesnt attend because they will not cancel it right away. They also expect you to continue to BRING in your child in this last 2 week period even though it makes NO sense that a parent would want to continue bringing the child into a centre that they have already decided they don't want them to attend anymore but this is what they expect because they will not do enrollment cancelation immediately over phone. The workers that attend to front desk are not very professional over phone or in person but the class room teachers seem better. All in all very odd experience, money leeching, not flexible to parents, information not discolsed properly in orientation. Do NOT bother sending your child here unless you want to be mucked around. This is not even a "boutique" childcare centre and they expect ALOT from you. And if the centre themselves reads this- IT IS NOT A PRIVILEGE THAT IM SENDING MY CHILD TO YOUR CENTRE. YOU ASSIST US PARENTS NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
