Welcome to Pakenham YMCA Early Learning Centre. Our early learning programs give your child a great start to life.

The Y has provided care for young people across Australia for over 20 years and has industry-leading safeguarding polices in place; so, you can be assured that your child will be cared for in a safe environment.

We're committed to heling your child reach their potential. Our programs encourage children to be curious, confident and independent thinkers, who love learning and improving their capabilities. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to supporting children and families and we achieve this by creating strong relationships with parents, guardians and communities.

We provide:

• Excursions to local schools and playgrounds
• Weekly incursions including library and Mandarin through Early Learning Language Australia (ELLA)
• Healthy meals and snacks throughout the day prepared by our experienced On-site Chef 
• All rooms open to an outdoor play space and doors are open most of the day allowing children the opportunity to explore freely and make connections with their environment.
• Long opening hours - 6:30am to 6:30pm

Our centre is located on the grounds of John Henry Primary School in Pakenham which gives us unique opportunities to develop school-readiness. It also offers parents a convenient one drop-off and pick-up location for children of all ages.

We have a spacious, natural yard that allows the children to engage in out indoor-outdoor program throughout the day. Our yard has space for climbing equipment for children of all ages, two sandpits, water play, mud play and vast spaces for learning.
