Only About Children's Altona North endeavours to be the leading holistic early learning provider in our community through education development and wellbeing.
We aim to empower every child to reach their full potential through a passion for learning.

Our early learning and kindergarten centre is a local community-based campus with a rich history of over 10 years as a childcare centre.

Situated in a converted house at 37 Misten Ave, we are close to local shops and a short walk to both Altona Gate Shopping Centre and local parks.

We have:

• Dedicated outdoor play areas including: Toddlers yard with large sandpit, fort with slide, cubby house, Nursery yard with large sandpit, fort with slide
• Garden beds with plants, herbs, vegetable patches
• Four indoor spaces with a design focus on natural elements and self-lead play

Enrolment includes:

• Health Program - with Allied Health support in Nutrition, Vision, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology
• Daily Dietitian designed, freshly prepared meals
• All essentials from nappies, formula and cot linen to sunscreen
• Excursions and local community activities

Learning

Our play-based curriculum allows consistent teaching in small group learning environments featuring:

• Qualified and passionate Educators
• Oac Grow curriculum supporting Nursery and Kindergarten aged children
• Daily fun and inclusive learning in numeracy, literacy, exploration, technology, sustainability and creative expression

Only About Children is proud to display the Kinder Tick because we’re an approved provider of a Victorian Government funded kindergarten program. That means our service delivers a play-based learning program, led by a qualified early childhood teacher.
