Finally a place that os suitable for young babies as well We have gone through a few daycare that felt more like babysitting service and didn’t quite know how to handle the under 12 months old. Very happy with the staff

I had possibly the worst experience of my life at this centre. My child was subjected to repeated harm, including multiple incidents of being bitten by another child on different days. What makes this even more concerning is the way these incidents were handled—or rather, mishandled—by the staff and management. 1. **Hiding Information**: After the first incident, staff admitted they were aware my child had been bitten but failed to inform us at pick-up or via any other communication. We only discovered the bite marks later that evening at home. 2. **Misleading Statements**: Following the first incident, staff provided false and conflicting information about the aggressor, claiming it was a larger child targeting smaller ones. This turned out to be completely untrue and further eroded any trust in their ability to manage the situation. 3. **Repeated Failures**: Despite knowing the identity of the child responsible for the biting and promising to keep the children separated, further incidents occurred. In one instance, my child was bitten three times in separate attacks in a single day. The final incident involved two large bites in one day, leaving my child with severe marks. When I confronted the Centre Manager, I received apologies but no satisfactory explanations for the lack of supervision, failure to act on known risks, and concealment of critical information. These repeated failures point to systemic neglect and poor management, putting not just my child but all children at risk. I have reported these incidents to the **Department of Communities - Education and Care Regulatory Unit**, as it is crucial to hold this centre accountable for its actions—or lack thereof. My child is no longer attending Nido, but I feel an obligation to warn other parents who still entrust their children to this centre. Children deserve a safe, caring, and well-managed environment, and sadly, this centre has proven incapable of providing that. Parents, please do your research, be vigilant, and look elsewhere for childcare to avoid the pain and distress my family has endured.

I write this with a heavy heart as we absolutely love this day care ! I don’t have the right words to describe how amazing this daycare has been for my little one. This daycare has been her second home. I’ve had to change our daycare to a closer to home daycare as i am now heavily pregnant and unable to travel to the city. My little one has been attending here for 4 months and she has flourished in ways I couldn’t have imagined. She has received the most precious care and love from every single staff. I couldn’t have trusted anyone more than all of her educators here. Her beautiful teachers from Ms V, Ms Adriana, Ms Jane to Mr Cal the manager, they have all been phenomenal. My little one absolutely loves you all and talks about you all the time. I am incredibly sad that this amazing chapter of QV1 has had to come to an end. I can not thank you all enough for looking after my little one. Not only did you give her the love, but she has received an amazing education, and all the adventurous excursions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was not disappointed in putting my trust in you all. We are so sad to have left…all the best to the staff and I hope to say hello soon when our little baby arrives.

Wonderful team at qv1 nido! Surely deserving of awards or recognition amongst the childcare community/industry. At the very least maybe a pay rise? Attention to care and ever growing in quality of care is a parents wish granted.
