Mt Carberry Preschool

Located in the heart of the community, Mt Carberry Kindergarten offers a rich, play-based 3 and 4year old program that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and discovery. We understand that children are naturally driven to play, and we use this as a foundation for meaningful learning.

At Mt Carberry Kindergarten, our Educators actively support and extend children's learning through purposeful interactions that foster inquiry and promote deeper thinking, helping each child reach their full potential in a fun, supportive environment.

Our experienced and caring teaching team enrich learning experiences to each child's interests and developmental stage, fostering independence and a strong sense of belonging. Through teamwork and shared dedication, we create nurturing and inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.

What makes us special?
At Mt Carberry Kindergarten, we

• have a strong connection to local schools with ‘both ways’ visiting programs, for example, St Anthony’s Primary School Choir come visit to sing songs for the children, and we participate in the Step up to Prep programs
• have approaches to teaching and learning that ensure our diverse cultural backgrounds of families and community are acknowledged and embedded within our programs
• visit regularly with Arcare-senior citizens, spending mornings sharing in activities and morning tea.
