Our experience with Montessori Childcare Centre Dalyellup has been nothing short of amazing. The team goes the extra mile in every aspect—caring for the children, providing enriching learning experiences, offering nutritious meals, and creating engaging activities. They foster a warm environment where children learn to love and respect one another while developing independence in a consistent and meaningful way. At home, I follow a similar approach, and I can see how beautifully it complements my daughter's growth. She has learned so much from this daycare, and I am incredibly grateful for the dedication of the educators. Even though it takes me an hour for a round trip to bring her here, I would do it a thousand times over with joy—it is absolutely worth it for such an exceptional center. Thank you for everything you do!

Our Experience with Montessori Dalyellup We chose this daycare with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience ended in disappointment. 1. Poor Communication Between the Center and Management One of the biggest issues we faced was the significant communication gap between the center staff and management. The information provided by the center often lacked credibility or was completely incorrect. Before enrolling, we were upfront about our son’s upcoming surgery and my dynamic work roster. We specifically mentioned that he was on a waiting list for surgery, and the staff/admin assured us that his start date could be adjusted accordingly. However, when we signed the enrollment forms, they immediately set his start date for the first week of January. When I reached out to Lindsay, I received this response: “Unfortunately, as we are not able to push forward the start date listed in the confirmation of care email, ——— will be marked as absent from the 6th of January 2025 up until the first day he attends. Please note that ——— is allocated 10 discounted holiday rates per financial year, which can be applied for a portion of the days he will be absent in January. Generally, we require 2 weeks written notice via email to apply the discounted holiday rates, however as you are a new family we will waive the notice period, in this instance. “ We reiterated that our son’s surgery was our top priority and reminded them of their initial promise. At first, they refused to adjust the start date, only reconsidering after we requested a withdrawal form. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. 2. Issues with Flexible Scheduling From the beginning, I explained that my work roster changes weekly, meaning my son’s daycare days would need to be flexible. We were assured this wouldn’t be a problem. However, once he was enrolled, it became a major issue. Instead of accommodating the changes, the administration ignored our situation and suggested adding casual days on top of permanent care—significantly increasing costs. 3. Unfair Public Holiday Charges As new families, we were not informed that if a child’s permanent daycare day falls on a public holiday, the center is closed, but parents are still charged the full fee. I find it unreasonable to be required to pay for a service that isn’t provided. Final Recommendation If you’re considering Montessori Dalyellup, be cautious. Always verify any verbal assurances with management, as the information from the center staff may not align with actual policies. Even written confirmations from admin can be overruled by terms and conditions, completely disregarding prior discussions. Regards
