Melody Education Family Day Care

At Melody Education Family Daycare we provide a mixed-age learning environment with a smaller number of enrolled children to ensure that each child recieves one-on-one interactions and catered learning goals to their needs. We prioritise working in partnership with each family, a unique aspect to family daycares. This builds the children's sense of belonging in our centre as it allows us to prioritise and celebrated the diversities of each familly along with that of the wider community. 

We follow a child-led, play-based curriculm in line with the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority. Our curriculum follows each child's interests and focuses on building self-efficacy and confidence whilst also celbrating the diversity of the children and reaching their major milestones. We provide a multitude of centre based activities that cover STEM, arts and crafts, literacy, cultural studies, imaginative play opportunites, nature play, physical literacy, mindfulness and much more. Along with our indoor and ourdoor environment, excursions and regular outings are an integral part of our program planning. On a weekly basis we attend at least two outings that can include local library learning sessions, Scitech, local parks and playgrounds, the Kidznsport early year sports classes, A-Z program at the Perth Zoo and other local learning opportunities.
