Highly recommend Mayfield child care centre, the educators are amazing and take time to care for each child’s needs. Has been an amazing journey watching my daughter grow through the years.

Found some of the staff very rude, my daughter and I weren’t really greeted very often at drop off and pick up. One of the staff members man handle my child right in front of me in the baby room, at first she didn’t see me and then when she realised I was standing in the door way she tried to play it off, I watched my child run away from her with a very sad face and she nearly started to cry before she seen me and got happy that I was there for pick up. The teacher then proceeded to do the same thing to another child while I was still in the room. I emailed the director (Tamara) straight away when I got home, she emailed me back not long after, she seemed very concerned in the email. When I went in the next morning she didn’t seem too concerned about what had happened but did tell me that there was going to be a meeting with that staff member and the other staff member in the room. I expressed to her that I didn’t want that teacher in the same room as my daughter and she straight out told me that’s not possible. I did also email the head office after I emailed the director. I had a phone call with a lady from the head office and was told that all the staff were going to be retained. I’m not 100% sure if that even happened.

My 2 grand-daughters whom I care for have both attended Mayfield Home Hill and have certainly had some great learning experiences and made caring relationships with their educators. The care and well being of all the children is well catered for and this makes it so much easier knowing the children are happy and on the right path for the start of their schooling years.

As a mother who is very attached to her daughter, I was very reluctant to place my daughter into daycare due to other local centres reputations.. However after hearing positive feedback about Mayfield Early Education Home Hill, I decided to enrol my daughter for one day a week. The centre director Tamara answered all of my questions and provided my husband and I with an opportunity to take our daughter into the centre prior to her first day to get familiar with the environment The lead educator of the Windmill room has been nothing but wonderful and has implemented fantastic early learning activities for our daughter to engage in The best part is that meals and nappies etc. are provided- which saves parents a lot of time. The centre itself is also really nice and modernized- with an excellent outdoor play area. Very happy with our childcare choice.
