About Little Peoples Early Learning Centre - Ingleburn

About Us

We are a family owned and operated business founded in 2002. We pride ourselves on our excellent standards of care and our carefully structured early childhood learning and developmental programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

We treat children with the utmost care. The children are our first and foremost priority, which is why in recognition of the importance of early childhood education we introduced the Teaching and Learning Development Team to our Head Office in 2010.

The Teaching and Learning Development Team provide support to the centres Nominated Supervisors in order to create Early Learning Centre's of Excellence that will nurture each child's self esteem, wellbeing and development. Our philosophy was developed with the fundamental aim of "extending and enriching children's learning throughout their journey of early childhood" and the major precepts of this are summarised in our company goals and philosophy.

We embraced the 'The Early Years Learning Framework' introduced by the Australian Government in 2010. The framework delivered by our highly trained, qualified, experienced and caring staff ensures all children are given the opportunity to develop emotionally, socially, intellectually, morally, physically and culturally. The framework fosters learning through play and incorporates choice for children whilst supporting the development of early language, literacy and numeracy skills. (For more information on the Early Years Learning Framework please download the 'Belonging, Being & Becoming Information Sheet' from our Notice Board).

At Little Peoples we celebrate the uniqueness, interests and developmental needs of each child by tailoring the curriculum to their interests, strengths and needs creating learning opportunities that will instil a life long love of learning for the children.

Our programmes offer a variety of learning areas and experiences which allow children to participate and achieve to their individual potential.

Staff continually use their past and current experiences to engage the children's attention and build opportunities to learn in a play-based hands on way. The learning experiences that your child takes part in are directed by their individual needs and interests and promote the following areas:

  • Physical Development to promote each child's growth and general health.
  • Social and Emotional Development to help each child develop a positive self esteem and the self-confidence needed for daily living.
  • To assist each child in the development of positive interpersonal skills, including values, attitudes, fairness, cooperation and conflict resolution strategies of social reasoning and negotiation.
  • Motor Skills to help each child develop fine and gross motor skills appropriate to his/her age.
  • Intellectual Development to assist each child in developing language skills, problem solving ability and perception.
  • Creativity to allow each child to develop creative potential.
  • Self Help Skills to encourage each child to develop skills and independence in caring for him/herself.

We provide a nurturing environment that will allow your child to grow and develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, culturally and socially. We celebrate the uniqueness of each child empowering them to reach their full potential while all the time they are having fun!
