Little Penguin Early Learning Centre is a 90-place early childhood education and care service located in Kilsyth. We operate Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm, providing high-quality long day care and kindergarten programs for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Our centre comprises five intentionally designed learning environments that support the holistic development of children across infancy, toddlerhood, and the early years. Each space is carefully curated to foster exploration, creativity, and meaningful engagement through play-based and inquiry-driven learning.

Grounded in the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Frameworkand Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, our pedagogy is centred on relationships, child agency, and inclusive practices. We are committed to supporting each child’s learning and development by creating environments where they feel safe, secure, and connected.

We recognise families as children’s first and most influential educators and prioritise respectful, collaborative partnerships to ensure continuity of learning and a strong sense of belonging. Particular attention is given to supporting positive and responsive transitions into and across the service, recognising that secure attachments are foundational to children’s wellbeing, learning, and identity formation.
