Little Giggles Family Day Care

My name is Sharon Maher and I hold an Associate Diploma in Early Childhood. I have over 25 yrs.’ experience in Early Childhood settings, including working in Early Intervention, Family Support Services, preschools and Long day care in the capacity of Childcare assistant, Group Leader and acting director.

I believe children learn through play and I aim to provide a learning environment that challenges, encourages and nutures creative thinking and helps build positive self esteem.

My husband and I have been happily married for 26 yrs. We have 2 wonderful children, and a daughter in-law. Originally from country NSW, we made the move to Brisbane in 1998. With a wonderful network of friends and family we happily call Qld, home.

We have opened our home for family day care as an educator under The Beenleigh Family Day care Scheme. We look forward to welcoming your family and child into our home and becoming part of our “Little Giggles Family”.

AT LITTLE GIGGLES WE WILL:

Experience “messy” play, slime, mud, goop etc,

Sing, dance and play musical instruments,

Role play in home corner with dolls and dress ups,

Paint, draw, paste and construct,

Read stories and enjoy a quiet corner,

Water play and sand play,

Ride bikes, slide, jump, run, roll,

Play in the cubby,

Play with cars, animals, dinosaurs,
