Leanne's Family Day Care

Hello, I’m Leanne from Leanne’s Family Day Care, located in Canning Vale. I’ve proudly been a part of the Canning Vale community since 2004 and established my business at its current location in 2005. Providing a safe and nurturing early learning environment with a strong focus on child safety and well-being practices.

My personal philosophy is to follow a holistic approach that nurtures the whole child. I provide a child-led, play-based program that nurtures exploration, creativity, and development. Activities include messy play, sensory play, nature play, the KIDDO sports program, child yoga and breathwork, and a school readiness program tailored for children preparing for kindergarten. My purpose-built indoor and outdoor environments are designed to foster a sense of ownership while encouraging the development of self-help skills, resilience, and self-confidence.

I hold diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as a University Diploma in Teacher Assistance, ensuring a professional and well-rounded approach to child development. My service is registered for child care subsidy, and is monitored and regulated by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit here in Western Australia alongside my amazing award winning service - Nature Alliance Family Day Care Service.

To make life easier for families, my daily fee includes nappies, wipes, nappy cream, sunscreen, nutritious meals and snacks, and access to a family communication app. For rest and sleep, I provide a warm, calming environment with dedicated spaces, including a separate sleep area for babies that aligns with their home routines.
