About Leafbud Montessori
Welcome to Leafbud Montessori, an award-winning, authentic Montessori and Nature Play family day care for children aged 3–6 years, lovingly offered within my home. I look forward to welcoming you into our community!
Leafbud is proudly led by Natasha Rebuck 2025 Regional Winner and National Finalist, recognised for excellence in quality care and service. This honour reflects the heart of our program — a place where children are deeply respected, nurtured and inspired each day.
As an experienced Montessori Educator (0–6 years, MEC Ireland), birth doula, and mother of three adult children, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work with families. Each child and family is welcomed with warmth, reciprocity, and a genuine commitment to collaboration. I believe strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of a child’s growth and wellbeing.
At Leafbud, children enjoy a calm, predictable, and enriching Montessori environment that sparks curiosity and gently fosters independence. Our days are filled with meaningful real-life experiences — preparing nourishing meals, baking bread, tending our vegetable and bush tucker garden, and learning sustainable practices through hands-on cooking and gardening. These everyday moments nurture responsibility, resilience, and care for the earth.
Music and movement are woven throughout our program, along with nature walks and special community experiences. We follow the seasons, craft with natural materials, and respectfully explore Indigenous perspectives. We celebrate the cultural richness of our families and invite parents and grandparents to share stories, music, and traditions.
Grounded in respect, trust, and belonging, Leafbud supports each child’s unique rhythm of learning. Children leave with confidence, compassion, practical life skills, and a strong sense of self — ready to step forward as capable, thoughtful humans. 🌿
