Last year, I enrolled my son in this center for just 2.5 weeks, hoping for a positive experience after moving to a new area. At the time, I had a newborn and my toddler son, who was a little over 2 years old. My toddler is a bright child with a perfect routine and excellent behavior, which I'm very proud of. Unfortunately, his experience at the center was terrible and caused us both significant trauma. Within a week, he had three major incidents. He had three big bite marks on his back, which the educators claimed they didn't notice. Of course, he cried and screamed a lot, and they tried to hide it. The second incident involved him being scratched on his face 11 times, even before his bite marks had healed. The day after, he had a nosebleed. On a scorching hot 28-degree day in January, my little toddler was outside with no sunhat, no sunscreen, and no water. The center is just hopeless. The educators are just sitting there with no interaction, no smiles, and no greetings. Their attitude is exhausted and time-killing. I had no choice but to remove my innocent, beautiful boy from the center to avoid further torture. The center management handled these incidents poorly. They seemed to think I was just an Asian woman with poor English and tried to shut me down as quickly as possible. Another unpleasant surprise was that they refused to refund my $400 deposit because I didn't give them six weeks' notice. How could they expect me to send my son there for another six weeks to be tortured? The food at the center is also poor, with limited choices like Beetwix, white rice, and pasta pretty much every day. Hygiene is really bad too. For example, they provide sunhats that look like they haven't been washed in over a year. The experience was so traumatic that, even though I had given birth just over a month before, I still feel terrible whenever I think about the center. It has been over a year, so hopefully the center has improved by now.
