Kind Early Learning

Kind Early Learning is an amazing, small centre that I could not recommend more. We had done a number of tours of larger centres, however none ever seemed like a good fit. After speaking with a friend who had her son attending Kind, and hearing all the positive things she had to say about the centre and hearing how much her son loved going, we booked a tour. The centre only has 20 children per day, and they are able to play across age groups rather than be separated, which we really liked. We also appreciated the progressive mealtimes, as we prefer to allow our son to eat when he feels hungry as opposed to set times. The centre is set up in a charming old house and has a welcoming and homely feel, with a lovely outdoor area for the children to play in. However, the thing that stood out the most to us was how the children interacted with the staff. While doing tours of multiple centres, we were always aware that staff can always present as their best, but the way the children engaged with the staff and were so excited to play, or sought out staff was what really showed us that the staff at Kind were genuine and cared deeply for the children in their care. The interactions are always genuine and lovely to observe and it was exactly the way we would want staff to interact with our son when he is there. This dedication and care for the children attending the centre was demonstrated even further to us, as my son had a lot of separation anxiety and the transition from being at home full time to going to daycare twice a week was a big transition for him. To have the support of the owners Hannah and Nicole, as well as the other staff made all the difference. The transition was slow, they always showed so much kindness and respect, especially when he was distressed. The staff worked collaboratively with us to try and make sure they could support in a way that made our son feel safe and secure. I could not speak more highly of Kind. My son is so settled now, it is now very rare that he cries at drop off and he is always happy to see the educators and his peers. His confidence has grown so much even outside of the daycare setting. The directors, Hannah and Nicole are nothing short of amazing and the other staff have all developed beautiful and trusting relationships with my son and our family. I couldn’t think of a better place to send my child, we are so grateful to have found Kind.
