Kathy's Family Day Care

I have been working in the childcare industry for over 14 years, and caring for children has truly been one of the greatest joys of my life. Since 2017, I have proudly received or been nominated for annual awards, which reflects my ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care and building meaningful relationships with families.



I have a special passion for caring for babies, providing a calm, safe and nurturing environment where they feel secure, loved and supported during these very important early stages of development. I also truly enjoy working with toddlers and kindy children, helping them grow in confidence, independence and curiosity through play-based learning and gentle guidance.



My educational approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which views children as capable, curious and full of potential. I believe children learn best when they are encouraged to explore, express their ideas, and be active participants in their own learning journey. I carefully plan experiences based on children’s interests to support creativity, problem-solving and confidence.
