Inspira Kids Early Learning Centre Sydenham

Leaving your child in someone else’s care is one of the hardest things as a parent. I walked into Inspira feeling nervous, emotional, and unsure. I visited twice, and on my second visit with my husband, we were toured by Matt. Matt has such a beautiful presence. You could tell that he was a bit nervous but th way he explained things was honest, gentle, organised and full of care. You could tell straight away that this isn’t just a job for him, he genuinely loves children and understands parents’ worries. By the end of the tour, my husband and I looked at each other and knew in our hearts that this was the place we could trust with our little one (we did 4 daycare tourings that day and couple the day before). The transition wasn’t easy for me. I worried constantly. But Inspira didn’t just enrol my child, they supported me too. Nimi was very hands on durng the starting and during orientation week and even after, they called me whenever my daughter cried at drop-off, just to reassure me. Those small calls meant the world to me and helped me breathe a little easier as a mum. Now when I see my child enjoying her sessions, adapting so quickly, and slowly building confidence, I know she is safe and loved there. Even if she still cries at drop-off sometimes (which is normal), I can see how comfortable she is once she’s inside. The Storypark updates every day she attends are so comforting, seeing what she does, eats, and experiences makes me feel close even when I’m not there. A little suggestion would be sharing how much they eat, just for extra peace of mind. Since starting at Inspira, my daughter eats better (thanks for the good food Bec!) socialises more, and talks more. Watching her become braver, more independent, and more curious has honestly been emotional for us as parents! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Nimi, Matt, Akwinder, Rach, Eiko, Mawa, Bec and Fiona for holding my child with care and helping our family through this big transition. We truly couldn’t have asked for better people to walk this journey with us. Thank you!
