0-2 yo rooms were really good for us and the educators (many of whom have left) were mostly great. One missing factor of an 'excellent' daycare was the lack of community there - they didn't have morning teas or invite any of the parents in to celebrate events. As soon as my child was moved to the 3+ yo rooms (at 2yo), chaos reigned. At pick up educators weren't aware of what happened through the day (and there were too many children to the amount of educators, they need more staff at that hour) and my son would be missing his shoes and socks every evening. Throughout the day he was often left to his own devices without being included in group activities - we saw this on the app where photos were taken and he was sitting in the corner by himself, and the last straw for us was when my son went all day without having his nappy changed. The staff ratios seemed off for children who were 2 and up - far more children than 1:11. We were really disappointed in the decline in care and were given an unsatisfactory explanation by new management, so we left abruptly.
