Hidden away in the small leafy suburb of St James you will find you will find a small cosy house that has been converted to a charming childcare with a warm homey feel and a large leafy back yard designed for nature play.  No 56 Victoria Street looks unasuming from the front.....but then opens into a wonderful world of exploration for the young child.

Combining the owners 15 years of Montessori experience with science, HQ Children's House of Learning provides a unique and carefully developed curriculum based on children’s innate curiosity blending science with Self Care and Integral Life Skills – ‘SCILS’-  carefully cultivating your child’s passion for learning through a rich and varied indoor and outdoor environment, skilled and caring educators, and opportunities to make gently guided discoveries, every day.

The HQ philosophy is one of self-discovery with a focus on developing executive function and self-regulation – crucial early childhood skills which build the foundations for successful learning and are highly regarded in preparing children for school.
