About Great Beginnings Kenwick Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to Great Beginnings Kenwick. We're ideally located for families in Maddington, Thornlie, Langford, Kenwick, Gosnells and Beckenham. Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At Great Beginnings, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Great Beginnings Kenwick including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Sports Program: Allows the children to be active and learn about different sports and movements.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our little one started here a few months ago, and the centre has gone above and beyond to help us settle in. The educators take such good care of baby and think of the little things that make kids happy. Each and every staff member always has a smile for us. We can see the centre is being managed so well hence the staff are happy and in turn they keep the kids happy!

I could not recommend this place enough if i'm being honest, the quality care and relationships built within this little family known as GBK is just incredible. I used to work here and was there for 7.5 years. The educators here are so supportive of one another and will go above and beyond for the families in their care. They are very inclusive and provide such meaningful personalised learning experiences tailored to support each child’s development. When you walk in it feels like a warm little home, so clean and bright with such enthusiastic educators. Please if you are within the area pop in or book a tour to find a second family to support your family.

I cannot say enough great things about Great Beginnings Kenwick! The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. The centre is clean, well-organized, and filled with engaging activities that my children enjoy. I especially appreciate the daily updates and photos they send, which give me peace of mind knowing my children are having fun. I highly recommend GBK to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their little one!
