About Great Beginnings Gilles Plains Long Daycare and Preschool
Welcome to Great Beginnings Gilles Plains. We're ideally located for families in Oakden, Windsor Gardens, Valley View, Holden Hill and Ingle Farm.
Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our multicultural and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support childrenās self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

We have two boys that go to GB Gilles Plains. Our eldest started there just after they opened and he is now about to start school. We are so grateful to all the GB team. We have loved our experience there from the excursions to the food to the day to day running of the centre. The calm sounds and senses make pick ups and drops offs a pleasure. GB will always have a special place in our hearts and we would definitely recommend the centre

My daughter has just started at great beginnings Gillis plains. I am so unbelievably happy with the service so far we are two weeks in. All the staff are amazing and friendly. Jess and Ryan are extremely helpful and responsive to any questions. It was hard for me to send my daughter to childcare so soon, everyday I pick her up she is so happy and I can tell she had a fantastic day. Staff keep you updated through an app so you can see how your child is going. 10/10 experience so far. If you are looking for the perfect centre for your little one I couldn't recommend this one enough.

The educators and the management are more than supportive and kind. They are so nurturing , confident, caring, friendly and understanding and you really feel part of a family there. The centre is clean and has nice spacious rooms. My son is really happy there.

My experience here at Great Beginnings has been fantastic. It is a happy place for both parents and kids. The admins are the best; no matter how tired they are, they try to give a warm smile that relieves the stress of picking up your kids. The teachers are great and very friendly, with no discrimination. They are very caring teachers. The kids are happy and well-watched. My kids never had any incidents at the center because they have more hands on the ground. I will miss Ryan, Jess, Lisa, and Tatiana.
