About Goodstart Early Learning St Leonards - Christie Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre St Leonards is a licensed 66-place long day care centre for children aged six weeks to five years. Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from St Leonards train station, we also offer free parking for 30 minutes during drop-off and pick-up at Wilsons car park.
Our team of highly qualified, multi-lingual educators creates a safe, inclusive learning environment that supports each childâs growth and development. All staff maintain the required child-to-educator ratios, hold senior first aid certificates, and regularly participate in professional development to enhance their expertise.
We follow the Early Years Learning Framework, offering tailored educational programmes in every room. Our preschool curriculum includes a specialised school readiness programme designed to equip children with the tools and skills for a smooth transition to primary school.
We provide nutritious meals throughout the day, including morning tea, lunch, and snacks, catered by our full-time cook, Preeya. Special dietary needs are accommodated, and we also offer a private breastfeeding room for families.
Through our Storypark platform, newsletters, and family nights, we maintain clear communication with parents to ensure our programmes meet the individual needs of each child.

So happy with the level of care these lovely people are providing for my 6 months old baby. The space is safe and spacious, educators and management are lovely and attend, I was welcomed to stay outside the room as long as I wanted on the first day. they arranged multiple orientation sessions for us and other kids are very happy and gentle. It's very important to choose the right place for the little one as they just learn and grow without us noticing. I am glad that my children can spend the time here. I see that the teachers are so caring and would provide records on regular basis so that the parents do not need to guess what is happening with the children in the CC. Thumbs up.

My 3yr old daughter has been attending Good Start St Leonardâs for the past 5months on Thursdays only âŠ. And you would never know she attends only once per week! The staff are so friendly, nurturing , welcoming and accommodating; my daughter absolutely loves going & comes home so happy/ tired / excited about her daily activities. Special mention to the wonderful Mahya who has been acting as Director- she has made hard drop offs seamless with her beautiful, friendly , kind nature, Mahya you truely are wonderful and my family appreciate you so much! You and your team are wonderful care givers & we will be sad to leave you all as we begin our next schooling journey. Many many thanks for all you do Kindest Claire

The staff are exemplary and the facility is well managed. Their structured programs are tailored for specific learning to prepare the children for school. Highly recommend.
