Goodstart Early Learning Nuriootpa

I couldn't rate Goodstart Nuri high enough! They have gone above and beyond with lots of extra care and cuddles to help accommodate my little one as he adjusts to being in care. All the staff are absolutely lovely and it's been so great to see my little one develop special relationships with them. Thanks to everyone at Goodstart Nuri 😊

We moved up here in 2023 I only had 2 kids at the time (boys) and I just like to say how much they have grown and learnt so much over the one year from their educators especially with my eldest who can do his timetables, additions. late last year I had my daughter, I was very hesitant getting her in at 6 months old as she was so young but it was the best decision I made as all my kids have made great relationships with their teachers! Thank you for looking after my babies and teaching them all new things every single day, also love seeing photos of what they get up to! My two elder kids will always ask me every morning “is it child care day?” Even on the weekend 😂 that’s how much they love going! You all have gone above and beyond for my family! ❤️

From our first tour to our son’s first days at daycare, the team at Goodstart in Nuriootpa has been amazing. They’ve gone above and beyond for our family, and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. I love getting daily photo updates about what our little guy has been up to. As a first-time mum, leaving him was never going to be easy, but the staff made the transition much smoother than I expected. Within just a couple of weeks, I noticed a positive change in him—he came home with a newfound sense of confidence. He’s built great relationships with the carers, and it’s made drop-offs so much easier. We’re so grateful for everything they do!

After visiting multiple childcare’s and family day cares in the Barossa Valley and being disappointed, I visited Goodstart as a last stop. I had multiple friends tell me to not send my child there due to its reputation. Since the moment I walked in the door for a visit till our last day Goodstart nuri has been our second home. We have never looked back! The staff have been absolutely incredible. The childcare is forward thinking with their practices. They nurture children’s strengths and expose them to different activities and skills to help them learn and grow. A huge emphasis is put on their fine motor skills as well as lots of outdoor play. Individual children’s needs in regards to care/dietaries/sleep/learning etc are listened to and supported. My son waves at me when I drop him off. This is a clear sign that he enjoys being there, feels safe and is genuinely happy. I sadly write this as we are moving state. If you are wanting your child to feel like they belong, are loved and nurtured by the most incredible educators, then Goodstart is the place for you. Despite its past reputation, give it a chance. You’re not committing to anything if you just arrange a visit. (My son has been going to Goodstart since he was 7 months. He is now 2 and a half. Nappies and food are provided. Hours are 6:30-6:30).
