About Goodstart Early Learning Merriwa - Hughie Edwards Drive
Goodstart Merriwa takes a shared approach to life learning, building strong family connections to provide tailored care and education programs for children to 5 years of age. With a National Quality Standards rating of ‘Exceeding’, the centre proudly nurtures children with stimulating and engaging play-based learning.
Following the Early Years Learning Framework, centre rooms are comfortable and engaging with a rich range of resources and natural elements. A team of passionate educators deliver an exciting program that inspires curiosity and creativity. Children sense that educators are truly present with them, and educators are individually responsive to children’s needs and interests.
Outside, a verandah and shade sails make it an inviting space all year round. Children can play on a fun range of age-appropriate play equipment, or pick herbs and vegetables from the raised garden beds. The centre’s sustainability program of reducing, recycling, and repurposing, provides opportunities for children to learn about nature and the environment.

I used to take my daughter to another child care and to be honest everyday she was always very upset and hungry and not happy at all. But since she started going to this child care i saw a big difference, my daughter become happy every morning and excited to go and meets her friends and educators. I can really see the big effort and great work that this team are doing everyday by taking care of my daughter and teaching her new and good things. Thanks guys for your support and hard work. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter is now 8months and started with Goodstart this year almost 4 months ago and the development friendships and love for her little friends and educators in Merriwa is amazing she settled quickly. with her educators with them showing how much they care for her and her development. I get updated throughout the day through their app which is so calming to know how she is going whilst there and always having great chats with the staff at pick up and drop off I couldn’t recommend them enough they are all so amazing and really love their work to be able to look after and educate your little bubbies. I’m so glad we can be apart of their centre.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for everything you do! My son started in the Nursery and has now moved into the Toddlers group, and it's been amazing to see how much he's grown. I really appreciate the care and effort you put into helping him develop. Your positive attitude and ability to get the kids involved in activities is fantastic. It’s clear you always find ways to connect with them, making learning fun and engaging.

My Toddler has nearly been here for 1 year this is her first daycare and she loves it. All of the educators have been wonderful. This is a Great caring safe place for your Child. Harman the center director has been very accommodating and helpful through out this time. Thank you Goodstart Merriwa team.
