We play and learn on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Our centre has reopened with a fresh new look, featuring upgraded outdoor play areas and beautifully refreshed indoor learning environments designed to inspire every child’s journey. Families from Flemington, Ascot Vale, Footscray, North Melbourne, Kensington and surrounding suburbs are already part of our community, and we’d love to welcome yours.

At Goodstart Flemington, our vision is to create a nurturing, inclusive space where every child feels safe, supported and inspired to explore. We foster a lifelong love of learning through play, supporting children’s confidence, independence and joy while building strong partnerships with families.

We offer long day care and government-approved kindergarten programs with a play-based curriculum that builds creativity, critical thinking, social and emotional skills, communication and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Our centre is proud to be award-winning and community-recognised, including Reconciliation Together and SAFER Award wins, and nominations for Educator of the Year and Local Business Awards. We are rated Exceeding across all seven National Quality Standard areas.

Many of our educators have been with us for 10–15 years, creating stability and deep community connections. Our diverse, multilingual team ensures every child feels seen and understood. With 10 dedicated rooms, children enjoy calm, age-appropriate learning spaces, enriched by excursions and community partnerships.
