Our long day care and early education centre provides child care in Ashwood that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Ashwood, Burwood, Chadstone and Ashburton. 

Our team is dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and inspired throughout their education journey. From planning adventure filled experiences, to building children’s self-confidence and resilience, right up until a child’s transition to ‘ big school’. 

Our spacious outdoor areas provide plenty of opportunities for children to learn and play. This includes a bike track, sandpit and climbing equipment.

WIthin our indoor spaces, we have spacious play areas for the children, as every program is designed around children's interests. Our Educators create a variety of experiences to stimulate the children’s unique interests such as dramatic play, arts and crafts, and the use of multicultural resources and toys. 

Children and teachers grow and learn together with our resource rich learning environments. These spaces are specifically designed to ignite curiosity and encourage exploration. 

Our team

The quality of our centre is underpinned by the quality of our people. The centre has a long-standing team with two kinder teachers. We are a proudly multicultural centre with Educators from all over the world, including India, Thailand, Greece, Sri Lanka, Colombia, China and Afghanistan. Majority of the team have a Diploma in Children's Services. All Educators have completed child protection training and stay updated on their skills and knowledge to provide the best care for our children. 

Our philosophy as Educators aims to provide an environment that is nurturing, secure and filled with opportunities for children to explore, engage and be empowered through a combination of structured and free play. 

We know each child is an individual with unique talents and interests. Our team is passionate about their profession and truly wants your child to succeed in discovering their identity as confident, happy and resilient learners. Parents receive daily updates and photos detailing their child's learning and development from our easy to use parent App. 

Partnering with families 

Relationships are key to delivering the best possible learning opportunities for your child. Our Educators and teachers develop strong bonds with the children and their families. We view a child's early education as an extension of the learning occurring at home. Therefore,  we believe a successful early learning journey needs a good partnership. We pride ourselves on working together with our families to achieve the best possible outcomes for their child. We welcome your involvement and that Involvement will look different for different families.

Exploring the community

We offer a range of experiences to help children learn about their local community. We often have visits from nursing homes, ambulance services and the local school to help expand the children’s learning. We also have excursions to our local park and local primary school to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool  children with their transition to ‘big school’.
