At Ferguson Street Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre, we provide care and education that puts your child’s needs first. Our team of dedicated early childhood educators supports each child’s health, wellbeing, and development in a high-quality learning-through-play environment.

We believe children are natural learners who explore, investigate, and experiment with the world around them. Through play-based experiences, children build confidence, creativity, independence, and positive relationships. We work in partnership with families and the wider community to support every child’s learning journey.

Our Curriculum and Learning Environment

Our curriculum is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), supporting children from birth to school age. Through play-based learning, children develop a strong sense of identity, wellbeing, and connection with their world, while becoming confident learners and effective communicators.

Children explore meaningful indoor and outdoor experiences. Our large outdoor play spaces encourage hands-on learning, curiosity, and creativity.

Pre-Prep (4-Year-Old Kindergarten)

Our Pre-Prep program prepares children for a confident transition to primary school, supporting social development, independence, early literacy and numeracy, communication, and problem-solving through play.

Celebrating Birthdays, Inclusion and Sustainability

We celebrate birthdays together, welcoming families to join morning or afternoon tea. Our service values inclusion and encourages environmental responsibility through reducing, reusing, and recycling.
