Feels Like Home Family Day Care (FDC) provides high-quality education and care in a loving, enriching environment that promotes play-based learning. Guided by The Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place, each child is supported to grow at their own pace—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Children are encouraged to explore new challenges and work toward their individual goals.

At Feels Like Home FDC, children confidently explore social and physical environments through positive relationships and play. They are supported in expressing their emotions and developing respectful relationships with peers, educators, families, and the wider community. Our nurturing setting allows children to seek comfort and build a strong sense of belonging.

We welcome and value every child’s identity. Children are encouraged to share their cultural backgrounds, and we celebrate diversity by embedding cultural and religious practices into our daily experiences. Every child is accepted for who they are.

Feels Like Home FDC also fosters a strong connection with the natural world. Children are encouraged to develop relationships with living and non-living things while learning to respect and care for their environment. Through this, they gain an understanding of how human actions impact both natural and built surroundings.
