About Edge Early Learning Flagstone
Edge Early Learning Flagstone is our new purpose-built childcare and kindergarten centre which opened 2024.
Conveniently located next to Flagstone State Community College and opposite Flagstone State School, our Flagstone childcare centre aims to support a smooth transition into the schooling system. At Edge, we continue to form close relationships with the local Flagstone schools to ensure all preschoolers are well-prepared for their next step in education.
The Edge Flagstone daycare and early learning centre provides the local community with quality child care, daycare and kindergarten tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age, with a focus on play-based learning.
The new custom-designed Flagstone daycare, childcare and early learning centre features spacious indoor learning rooms with atelier art spaces that enable children to express themselves through creativity. Each indoor space has been consciously designed to foster your child’s curiosity with dedicated spaces for learning and play.
Our innovative outdoor play spaces also deliver new sensory and play-based learning opportunities and are equipped with bike tracks, sandpits, train climbing forts, water play stations, and vegetable gardens to encourage children to roam, play and grow. Each outdoor area has been purposefully designed to foster a connection to the local environment and sustainability.
At our Flagstone childcare centre, we implement an inquiry-based approach where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore new interests and develop a love of learning through play-based experiences. This type of learning is particularly beneficial in developing problem-solving and communication skills. We also aim for each child to foster strong relationships with their peers, helping build their confidence as they move into our Flagstone Kindergarten program and school.

Both of my boys (2yrs and 3yrs) have attended Edge since it opened. The level of care and attention from the educators and directors has been exceptional. I value the daily Storypark updates, which provide insight into their daily learning experiences. The chef's commitment to preparing healthy and appetizing meals is also appreciated by my children. Edge has been a warm and welcoming environment, much like a home away from home ♥️

Edge Early Learning Flagstone has truly been a wonderful place for my daughter. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and they take such great care of her; she lights up every time she goes to see them! I love how they always keep me in the loop and create meaningful experiences for the kids. You can really feel the thought, care, and love that goes into everything they do.
