About Como Children
During its 30 year history Como Children has earned a reputation for the highest quality care and education for young children, age 2 – 5 years. Our inspiration stems from nature, beauty, integrity, art and our wonder for the mystery of each child’s development. We are a well-informed and artistic group of educators that are continuously reflecting on our program and striving to offer excellence in all aspects of early childhood care and education. Our small and therefore very personal centre is privately owned. Working with the families of the attending children is very important to us, as is the continuity and dedication of our staff. Our owner of 13 years works in the centre as an educator alongside an Atelierista (art educator) and several early childhood experienced educators that specialise in or have a passion for dance/drama, music, gardening, cooking and language. We value our place in the community and while we consider our centre to be an achievement in itself we are also always a work in progress.
