Welcome to Cheeky Chicken :)

We are delighted that you have considered our centre and would love to tell you a little more about our space.

As the highest awarded Centre in the ACT for Environmental Sustainability we take great joy in leading by example in our business philosophy and day to day positive learning and guidance that we have the privilege to offer our little chickens.

Our centre has the best child to educator ratio in Australia! We understand the value in good ratios and how vital it is to provide the best possible opportunity to our children for learning and exploring in a safe and natural environment.

Playing outside in the mud, the rain and getting messy is all a part of growing up, we offer a totally natural play space at Cheeky Chicken, you won't find any plastic grass, rubber flooring or bubble wrapped kids here :) Allowing children to explore plants, grass, mud, dirt, challenging environments help a child with both fine and gross motor skills.

The centre is a mixed age group, this works so well because we have such an amazing group of children and fantastic staff. The smaller children get to emulate the positive behaviours shown from the older kids while the older kids have a great time guiding and mentoring the little ones.

One big extended family is the best way to describe our environment :)

We offer delicious food prepared daily and fresh on site using only the finest ingredients, we use organic produce where possible.
