About Charters Towers Kids Early Learning Centre
Charters Towers Kids Early Learning Centre is a privately owned centre and caters for children 6 weeks to 5 years. Our centre has been assessed under the new rating process and we are very proud to say that Charters Towers have received a rating of EXCEEDING NATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS.
We also have a government approved Kindergarten here on premises which is able to operate 52 weeks of the year. We have 5 rooms here at the centre. The Centre is open 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Closed all public holidays.
Children are supplied with all nappies and sheets for the beds. Children are given a hat and shirt upon enrollment. All meals are provided and cooked on site. Over 3's have access to a free swimming lesson per school term depending on availability.
Parents are asked to apply sunscreen to children prior to going out in the yards in the morning this is in line with our sun policy, staff will then reapply 20 minutes prior to going out in the afternoon.
Children are also required to wear clothing that is sun smart IE: shirts with sleeves no singlets and bring a water bottle with them.
