About Bush Explorers Family Day Care
Bush Explorers is open Monday to Wednesday 730-1630 and thursday 730-1600. Belinda caters for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Each day Belinda is allowed to have up to 7 children, 4 children under the age of 5 and 3 children ages 5-12 years. This enables families or friends of families with older siblings that can attend after school care and during the School Vacation Period.
Belinda has worked in the childcare industry for 25 years in a variety of services- Kindergarten Teacher, Long day care, Preschool, Before and After School care and Vacation care. She is a 4 year trained early childhood teacher and also has 2 children of her own. William who is 11.5 and Ruby who is 9 years old. Belinda and her children are both hearing impaired and wear 2 hearing aids. Richard is Belinda’s husband who works a 4 day on, 4 day off rotating roster at Sydney airport. Belinda also has 2 horses- Lolly and Bilbo, 2 dogs- Lucy and Rosie and also 18 chickens. 3.5 acres.
We attend excursions depending on the childrens interests such as parks, beachs, play groups, bike riding, skate park, library and community events.
