Blackwood Street Early Learning

Blackwood Street Early Learning is a community not-for-profit early childhood care & education centre located in Mitchelton. Our centre offers long day care alongside the QKLG Kindergarten Program (Free Kindy). Established in 1976, our community-driven centre fosters a safe and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. 

Situated over two blocks of land, our extensive playgrounds with gardens and trees to climb are a standout feature. Our educator team is made up of long standing, dedicated indivudals who are welcoming and supportive of all our families. At Blackwood Street Early Learning, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive, and nurturing early childhood education that supports the holistic development of every child.
