Welcome to Bayside Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten – Mentone East, a nurturing and inspiring early learning environment where children aged six weeks to six years feel safe, supported, and excited to learn every day.

Our newly refurbished and spacious centre is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and creativity. With six age-specific learning spaces and three separate playground areas, children experience programs tailored to their stage of development in safe, engaging environments. Our team of passionate, highly experienced educators and degree-qualified teachers provide high-quality early childhood education while building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.

We strongly value family involvement in children’s learning and development and believe that working together creates the best outcomes for every child. We Pride ourselves on maintaining open and supportive communication with parents whenever they need guidance or support.

Our beautiful outdoor environments encourage exploration and discovery, featuring native trees, herb and vegetable gardens, creek beds, water play areas, and nature-inspired learning spaces. Children also enjoy regular excursions within the local community, including visits to Mentone Park Primary School, local supermarkets, the Mentone Fire Station, and the Mentone Aquarium, helping them build confidence and a sense of belonging.

Our centre proudly offers:
• Enriching programs including Joy of Reading, Cooking, and Sustainability
• Fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef
• Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, hats, bags, and bed linen provided
• Extended hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

Families with children aged three and four will benefit from Victorian Free Kindergarten funding alongside the Child Care Subsidy.
