About Alfred Street Early Education Centre

Alfred Street Early Learning centre is a proud owned and operated centre, our families are at the heart of everything we do. Nestled in the bustling Granville area our centre is a cut above the rest.

Since January 2021, Alfred Street Early Learning Education has been under new management. Having been a part of the Granville community for nearly two decades the opportunity to purchase back the centre came full circle in early January.

Situated close to Parramatta Road, our child care centre we have ample parking and situated close to popular bus routes and only a few minutes from Granville train station. Our centre is situated near local primary schools, shops, park and facilities.

Our centre has been designed to nurture and inspire a learning environment for both children and educators, with plenty of outdoor space for children to explore and use their creativity and for children to inherit connection to the natural world.

I cannot speak highly enough about my daughter’s preschool and the incredible team that runs it, led by the outstanding manager, Mahran. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re met with warmth, professionalism, and an atmosphere of pure joy and learning. Mahran’s leadership sets the tone for everything. She genuinely cares about each child’s well-being and growth, and her dedication is reflected in every aspect of the preschool. The educators are nothing short of amazing – compassionate, attentive, and deeply invested in nurturing each child’s unique potential. They take the time to understand the needs and personalities of every child, and they approach their roles with kindness and respect, not just for the children but also for the parents. The level of care they provide is unparalleled. From the daily activities to the structured yet creative learning environments, it’s evident how much thought and effort goes into fostering the children’s development. The educators incorporate hands-on learning, observational methods, and interactive activities that keep the kids engaged and curious. The sensory and developmental activities are particularly impressive, offering opportunities for the children to explore and grow in ways that are both fun and meaningful. They also focus on social and emotional development, helping the children build confidence, empathy, and important life skills. The attention to detail extends to every area, including the meals. They provide healthy, delicious, and balanced options, ensuring the children are well-nourished and ready to learn. Mealtime is also used as an opportunity to instill manners and foster independence, which I deeply appreciate. Parents are always treated with respect and kept in the loop. Whether it’s through regular updates on the app, observations, or open communication, Mahran and her team make you feel like a true partner in your child’s journey. The variety of activities is another standout feature – from creative arts and crafts to music, physical play, and cultural celebrations, there’s always something enriching happening. Each day is filled with opportunities for exploration and joy, and it’s wonderful to see how much my daughter has grown and thrived since starting here 1 year ago! This preschool is not just a place for children to learn; it’s a community where they are cherished, respected, and supported every step of the way. I am endlessly grateful to Mahran and the incredible educators for creating such a positive, nurturing environment where my daughter can flourish. If you’re looking for a preschool that truly goes above and beyond in every way, this is the one!
